Aerodynamics

Smooth journeys. Private skies.

Since 1986, Aerodynamics has been the first private jet broker in the Netherlands. Because the company does not own a fleet, its advice is not tied to any one type of aircraft. A small team, dedicated contacts and a mindset of taking every concern off the client's hands. Over forty years, that approach built a leading name in the industry, among both clients and partners, partly thanks to the high volume of flights it handles. A few years ago, the company passed to the second generation. All the knowledge came along, but the visual identity did not yet. That is where Mandelo came in.
The look of Aerodynamics still belonged to the previous generation: conservative and classic. The new owners are fresher and more direct. As they put their own stamp on the company, the gap between who the company was and how it presented itself became ever more visible. "Now that a younger generation is in charge, the old no longer quite matches the fresh approach we want to bring," says David Roosjen-Billet (co-owner, Aerodynamics).
That was exactly the difficulty. The trust Aerodynamics has built with clients and partners over forty years is tied to an image they recognise. Renewal could not mean throwing everything overboard. The identity had to move with the second generation, without distancing itself from what made the company great. That challenge applied everywhere. Aerodynamics does not only show itself on its website, but at every moment a client encounters the company. The new identity had to convey the same feeling everywhere, from print to the first click online.
Online, something else came into play. The old website mainly attracted visitors with one question: what does this actually cost? Those enquiries landed with the team that speaks to every client personally, while a large share were not yet considering a booking.
Mandelo developed a new identity for Aerodynamics. A brand that suits the second generation, without detracting from a name that has stood for forty years. There is movement in it, because Aerodynamics is always looking ahead rather than flying on autopilot. At the same time, the look remains calm and exclusive. Exactly what you expect from a partner that takes care of everything.
The new identity has been rolled out across all communication, so the brand conveys the same feeling everywhere. Part of this is a new website, which also solves the problem of price enquiries. With custom pricing functionality, visitors can see on the website roughly what a flight costs. The conversation only starts when interested parties are ready for it.
